How a session works

1. Your child opens Lumi and taps the firefly to start.
2. Lumi speaks every instruction — no reading required to navigate.
3. Lumi cycles through 6 short task types calibrated to Level 5: tap-the-sound, tap-the-letter, build-the-word, sound-match, heart-word flash, sequence-two stories.
4. An adaptive pacing engine decides what to do next based on the last few attempts: speed up when easy, scaffold when missed, interleave reviews, end the session at a graceful stop.
5. Tomorrow, Lumi greets your child by name and references yesterday's work.

Safety

• No advertising. No selling data. No AI model training on your child's data.
• No microphone in Phase 1 — we are not recording your child.
• No third-party trackers on your child's play surface.
• One-click export and one-click delete, anytime.
• The tutor is constrained by a kid-safe persona: no jargon, no shame language, no claiming to feel emotions.

Setup

Sign in with your own Google account, accept consent, add your child's first name + age + 3 interests, pick a voice (Amelia, Josh, or Elise), and hand them the tablet.
