No. Lumi is a supplement, not a curriculum replacement. A great reading teacher in a great classroom is still essential.

Many users with these profiles use Lumi successfully — the voice-first design, large touch targets, and adaptive pacing all help. That said, Lumi is not a diagnostic tool; see a qualified specialist if you suspect a learning difference. Phase 6 will add explicit modes (e.g. OpenDyslexic font toggle, slower-default-pace).

English-first in Phase 1. Spanish curriculum is planned for Phase 6.

Speech recognition for under-7 voices is still unreliable. We'd rather ship no microphone than a frustrating microphone that mis-hears your child and demotivates them. Phase 2 adds microphone for fluency tasks with SpeechAce or ElevenLabs Scribe.
